I have a tackle bag that holds 4 plano 3600s i rarely ever took more than that on 1 fishing trip so i downsized and i have another bag i keep at home and stuff the crap im not taking in and leave it in the closet. My issue is...... ive been using a plain jane 3600 plano box to hold my hooks and weights. the one you can add and remove the dividers. My bag stands the planos on their side and sometimes a few hooks end up in the slot next to it. sometimes a whole bunch of them. I want to get a good box to eliminate this. Any suggestions would be great.

may have to get lyndsie to do some sewing on my tackle bag lol i will look for it, find it, buy it, and have a great excuse for a new bag.

I use the standard 3600 box, but I took some shelf liner material that I had laying around. It had a self sticking backing and was slightly spongy to the feel. Once I added it my hooks have stayed in the proper spaces. It does not cause any problems with closing the boxes, only drawback is you cannot see the contents, but then again all of my boxes are labeled with a black grease pencil.

Why do you guys hate Bass Mafia? Why am I a sucker for buying one? I use tungsten that cost 3-10 bucks per weight. Why would I put that into a $7 tackle box? Not sure why the hate?

Ill pass on the $54 dollar box, and put some foam and glue in my $4 box and put all my cheap lead sinkers and .48 cent gamakatsu clearance hooks back in it :D

Yep you can glue the foam on top and you won't have any problems. Might not even need to super glue. Being that you are looking for the 3600 size you are limited in options. The Flambeau Ultimate Tuff 'Tainer Waterproof Utility Box has the Zerorust corrosion inhibitors and has the same size as the 3600 for 11.99. There is also the Plano Fixed Compartment StowAway Utility Box and it solves the problem of the hooks sliding under. They have the size you are looking for with 6, 12,13 and 18 fixed compartments for 7.99. You could also use film canisters or pill bottles and label them and put them in your box. I've seen guys put rubber bands around the hooks they don't use as much too.

I have a falcon terminal tackle that I have loved. I have a back pack style 3600 series I use and have always put it in the other section because it must be 3700 series. I think they still have some at Gander Mtn. for around $13. They have lots of different hook size slots and sinker slots labeled.
