When you clean your fish, what do you do with the carcases, and guts, skin and such? Do you bury, compost, fertilize, use for chum?<font size="5"> "YOU TELL ME NOW!"</font>

I have been to your house and I know you have lots of room to roam. Just walk a hudred yards out your back door and chunk them. The coons will do the rest.

3 or 4 hundreds yards from ny house they become one with the woods. I have the happiest coons, possums, buzzards and crows for miles around.

Since I live in a subdivision and can't chunk them into the woods, what I've been doing is wraping them good in newspaper, place in wal-mart bags (doubled) and then place all into garbage bag and freeze them until the next garbage pick up day and then take them out of the freezer and put into the garbage. Hope this helps.

I have a concrete block pit out in the woods by the neighbors 10' privacy fence and just throw them in. Feeds the critters and PO the neighbor, he is a a_ _ H _ _e anyway, two birds with 1 stone. emoEnforce emoApplause emoApplause

I generally bury them in my garden spot until I get it filled up. Then I haul the carcasses down to the lake (.7 mile) and feed the turtles. emoBigsmile emoGeezer

I think I am going to start keeping a 5 gal bucket in my chest freezer. I will let a length of 40lb test hang out of it. When I get it full to the top, take it fishing with me, tie a rock on the rope, and sink that puppy.(keeping the bucket of course) Feeds lots of little fish, and a natural fish attractor too!

I leave them in the fish when they are released... ;)

That's cool too if you are into spending multiplied thousands of dollars and have nothing to show for it other than a few memories. I think Spur is like me if I am going to spend all that money I want to bring something home to the family. If not you might as well take up golf. JMHO

It's more than the memories Cheez. I've got a 3yr old that loves to fish and he'll want memories too. If I targeted crappie, catfish, and bream, I'd probably bring some home myself, but such as it is, I choose to release my catch.

Golf is awesome too, there's just not enough hours in the day to get it in as much as I'd like. ;)

Hey ... Spur asked - and he said he wanted an answer "NOW" - so I chimed in.
