Wel my birthday is coming up in the next few weeks and I've been contemplating what I wanted. I've narrowed it down to two things. I'm thinking of either getting one of the I H20 by lowrance and a card to go with it, or a copilot for my V2 trolling motor. You guys are the fishing experts and I need some input as to which one would be the most useful of the two.

NOT FISHING EXPERT BUT DEPTHFINDER/GPS IS ONE OF THE BEST PIECES OF EQUIPMENT YOU CAN HAVE ESPECIALLY WITH THEM BRINGING THE LAKE LEVEL DOWN DON'T NEED TO RUN IN VERY SHALLOW WATER WITH THAT NEW MOTOR

Thanks guys, got a depthfinder, actually two of them, however I just dont have a built in GPS. So the GPS has gotten two votes it sounds like.

A gps system will absolutely change the way you fish. I've found things that aren't on maps and while I still can't catch a dang fish, I now know where they are, lol.

Got an I Finder H2O and for a hand held unit, it works well. If you can afford the color unit, buy it. A word of advice. Do not overpower it with a 256 mb card. A 64 or 128 mb card will work fine in it. You're welcome to come by and give it a look see.
