found this print today while fishing.Notice the the dew claw to the right.Their has been reports of Mnt.Lion in the area.but I'm not saying thats what this is because i,m no expert and last time I mentiond a Mnt.Lion some people made me sound foolish for thinking such a thing exist on Sand Mnt.SO what do you think could have made such a track?

A cat (Mnt. Lion included) walks with their claws retracted, you can clearly see the claw impressions on this print. Also take a look at the top (front) of the pad. A cat's pad is rounded or flat whereas a canine has a point, which is evident in this track. The rear of the pad also has some slight canine features, but it is kinda hard to tell cause of the debris there.


IMO, it looks like nothing more than a large dog.
 
I gotta cocker spaniel thats not 20" off the ground and she makes a print almost that size. I tell the everyone she's a minature clydesdale, hence the nickname "donkey-dog". At any rate thats a big dog print. But, I dont totally discount the presence of big cats in unexpected places. I have just recently seen trail-cam pics of cougars in the mid-west where they were not thought to be.
