At CFF #2 Tie 1 on was running late for whatever reason ( read his post, another TX member sent him to the wrong ramp for our launch-?)
So, his loving wife gets him hooked up with XLVdee by phone who clears him to launch late and have a day with us.
Adam's as good as it get's when it comes down to making these events casual and fun. But, I know any other administator or commitee member would have done the same. :emoticon:logo

Thanks Ron emoToast

Tie1On did the right thing in calling me instead of just going home and wasting the morning away. I hope that everyone who fishes our CFF Trail will put some phone numbers of the committee members in their phone, just in case something like this happens in the future. We want you guys to come out and enjoy the day with us and we all have our phones on us at all times in case something happens.

emoToast Our TX are all about the friedship and getting together with the great bunch of people on CFF.All members need to keep a list of admins and moderators as well as the emergency contact list in the boat all the time just for things like this,Great job guys and cya on the water!!!

Things happen. We have no problem allowing latecomers (within reason of course) to fish as long as livewells are checked beforehand. The CFF Tournament Trail is about friendship and friendly competition. Heck, we even let Bbass fish with us every third tournament. A word to the wise however, if you call me, you'd better have coffee and a sausage biscuit to give me before checking your livewell.

Thanks again Adam and to everyone who allowed us to fish! emoGrouphug Jim and I just miscalculated our time. It was our fault for not getting there early enough and you guys didnt have to let us fish. We greatly appreciate it!emoToast I feel bad for being late for our first CFF tx but we had a great time! We are going to try to make it to the Chick Tx--ON TIME!

I had never fish out of MCP, but Jim has, and as we were going to the other ramp, Jim said "I know what ramp he's talking about, there is no way they're using that one!" As we were pulling back up to the right ramp, we saw the boats take off. The misinformation that was given to us at the dock, set us back just enough to miss it.
