What year model is my motor

Trying to find out what year model my mercury tracker pro series 125hp is. Serial # OG242825
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Is that what’s on the block? You may be looking at wrong serial number. jmo

It’s on the tag by the trim motor but yea it says serial number I wish I could post a pic but can’t lol

The date should be on that tag below the serial number.

According to what I read the 0 is a number for something Mercury uses like a microfish number

OG series numbers are usually '94-'95. Just google ; Mercury Outboards s/n to year model conversions chart.

Thanks guys I sure appreciate all your help. It’s on a 95 Nitro 170 DC so I’d say it’s a 95 model as well
