Went by the local market on the way home and picked up some nice filet's. I've been wanting a good steak all week and figured I'd surprise the wife with the expensive cut......The Green Spot in Dalton has some of the best meat I can get my hands on, and well worth every penny!
Picked up two nice sized cuts, one around 8 oz for the wife and about a 10 oz'r for ol' Big Daddy! emoBigsmile Rubbed them down with some minced garlic, ground peppercorn, a little salt, and Montreal steak seasoning. Dropped em in with one of my sloppin' sauce concoctions....which consists of Braswell's Vidalia Onion Peppercorn dressing, Worcestershire, and a dash of Johnny Fleeman's (Dales is too salty for my liking)
Let them pretty gals marinate for a couple hours and lit the charcoal on the ol Char-Broil. The Mrs fixed some Balsamic Baby Bellas and some fresh cooked spinach with bacon and garlic. A nice baked potato and some crescent rolls topped it all off and it was on like donkey kong! emoHungry
