Bingo Brian! My choice is also the Sebile Magic Swimmer. A gorgeous lure for sure. I've got 5 of them in 2 sizes and I couldn't catch a cold with one.

DD22 just never can get bit i've even dropped down to 8 pound flourocarbon to try and get it as deep as possible but still can't get bit.

I catch fish on Jigs, shakey heads, and spooks .. I dont fish spooks that much .. but when they want it they want it bad, I aint paying over 12 bucks for any lure period.. sebile want way too much for there stuff .. ridiculous .. most of the stuff out there is sold to do one thing, catch a fisherman's cash.
There are too many lures around that will catch just as many fish as those lures over 12 bucks.. Im always last to buy stuff that is hot .. and if everyone is using it .. I will just pass it on by.. like the chatterbaits .. Ive never bought one never even tried one.
I have some lures Ive bought that I dont catch much on.. but then again I dont fish them much either.. I never caught much on crank baits before I got a boat other than rapala floating minnows and maybe a bagley shallow runner or a Big O.
I guess my personal bait I cant seem to catch squat on is a Rattle Trap.. even guys in my boat are catching them on them .. but I rarely find a bass willing to nail mine.. but even when they are catching em on those I catch just as many in the same boat same time on other lures .. I just dont have confidence in them like other lures.. so I dont throw em as much

Any crank bait with a lip on it, I love the rattle traps but when you add a lip them and me just dont work well together, matter of fact I dont think I have ever caught a fish with one but like NRG said I dont have any confidence in them so I never throw them...

I found a knowck off of the sammy at Sportsmans' on clearance for 3 bucks and it works just as well. I may never buy a Lucky Craft because of the price. As far as other overrated baits I will go with Spur on the Flying Lure. JUNK! I have never caught one on a Chatterbait either. I'll just stick with jigs spinnerbaits and a few others but 90% of the time I'm throwing a jig or shakey head.

The reason that we don't catch fish on these lures....well 90% of them......is lack of confidence. I mean for each one of us that
lists a bait we don't like, there are 100's who swear by them........it's confidence.
BTW........mine is crankbaits.....and I - KNOW - they are fish catching machines ! ! ! ! ! ! But I have zero confidence in them.
