My best bud Josh and I are currently hanging out in Guntersville. Southerncats put us on a few nice fish today. We only caught two today, but they were both good fish. We also had two good fish pop off the hook. Both were caught on fresh skipjack. We are going out tomorrow as well and are hoping for another big one. The first pic is of Josh with a 30 lb blue. The second pic is a 66 lber I caught to end the day.

Good day!

Good lookin fish guys!!! Congrads. I wish I could be out there this weekend. Stuck here at the house doing a side job on a FORD!!! Maybe in a couple weeks I will be back out there

Hey guys,

Got skunked as far as catfish goes today on Sunday, just not biting. Still had fun catching several white bass, skipjack, a sauger, and a drum. A relaxing day on the water, nice mild day for winter.

We caught both those big cats in about 30 ft of water. Like WLG says, the bites are few and far in between, but it's worth it when it finally happens in the winter.

Minner and Bprice,

We did see you guys out there. We were going to stop by later and see if you tried any sauger, but I think you guys were already gone. I had a big one pop off in that spot around 1 pm. Then later at 5 I got my second chance with the 66. It's well worth it when you get the bites there on Wheeler.
It was a tough weekend as far as getting a lot of bites.
