Where can I buy the Panfish Assasin lure?

I see lots of folks mention catching crappie on a Panfish Assasin. I've looked for these at Wally World but I've yet to run across them.

Can someone tell me where I can find some and maybe suggest some sizes and colors that would be good this time of year? By the way, this is the first thread I've ever posted. I'm new to CFF, but I really love it.</p>

the panfish assassin is a downsize of the bass jerkbait 'bass assassin.' they're 1.5 inches long. as far as color, fish will hit anything and everything. some of the local guys up there (your neighbors) will need to weigh in on what colors have been producing up there. where i live (huntsville) black/chartreuse and pearl/neutral colors worked well when i went out for crappie. (not very often). like i said, you'll just have to experiment to see whats hot that day.

emoWelcome It depends on what side of the river you live on. I would recomend getting them at Soddy Bait and Tackle if you are on the Hixson side or Hamiltons if you are on the 58 side. The pearl, baby shad, albino or opening night have all done well for me and many others. You will also find another lure the Stinger and even the Bobby Garland lures in the same color work well. Each of these plastics only come in one size so you wont need to worry with that. The jig most of us use is a 1/32 or 1/16th. Good luck.

If you hit wal-mart at the right time in hixson, they have them. Not a huge variety though. emoWelcome

I just picked up a couple of packs of them at Sportsman's Warehouse. They didn't have a huge color selection, but there were probably 12 or so colors to choose from.

emoScratch We are at 890 25th Street NW in Cleveland behind Checkers. If you take exit 25 and go east on 25th Street (hwy 60) we are 1 mile from the interstate on the left.
