(went with the ruger sr9c by the way) and have yet to shoot it. anybody know where i can just go shoot it without having to join a club or anything? i just want to put some rounds through it. private land would be awesome lol. but any info at all would be great thanks guys

Prentice Cooper wma. It's around Suck Creek. Check the twra shooting rang schedule Prentice Cooper.

smughal31 - 6/19/2013 8:57 PM is it near signal mtn?

YES... On Signal Mtn Blvd just before you hit the first curve to go up the Mtn, Turn Left and follow that road around the River and Up Suck Creek. At the Top after you pass the Dump Dumpster start looking for the sign. Turn Left then the next Two Lefts and follow the gravel road about 1/2 mile. It is a great Free place to shoot... Range Rules apply...

I heard they finally opened up the 50 yard range again. The park ranger said last time they opened it, someone came by the next day with an ak and blew the 4x4s apart that held the targets. Absolute morons up there. I just pay the $125 to go to the range at the corner of 153 and hixson pike. It is by far the nicest indoor range in Chattanooga in my opinion.

Come on out to Dade County-there's a chirt pit at the bottom of Burkhalter Rd., where it meets Creek Rd.
We just pull in and shoot freely, bring your own targets and please-clean up after yourself.
