If you take a picture of the fish, measure length and girth, you can get on line and purchase a replica mount from an artist that specializes in that species of fish. You can get the mount back in a much shorter time, it lasts much longer than a skin mount, and a side benefit is being able to release a fish. Go look at someone's skin mount that is 20 years old before you have them do your work...
 
the only reason we have the fish is my son hooked him deep and it died or I would have released the fish....
 
I can second the recommendations of Shipmans they do great work an nice folks to deal with

My point was, a replica will last much longer. Preseved skin mounts WILL eventually crack and peel.
 
My father n law has a rainbow trout that's probably 10 years old from bud hull. Outside of being in an an un natural pose, it is cracking and peeling.
