Where to buy red worms

Back home in alabama I bought my worms from a guy that sold me a big coffee can with 100-150 worms for 5 bucks. Here In tn I have only found 25 and 40 counts for 4-5 bucks and most of the worms in the small cans are tiny worms. Do any of you guys know where I can get good quality worms without spending a fortune? Or where I could dig em myself? I live in reliance, so anywhere near benton cleveland athens etc

If you want to put the time in start a compost pile this fall and by the spring you should be able to dig as many as you need right out of it. Everytime I take my step son brim fishing we just go raid grandma's compost

Yeah, seeing that you live in polk it would be pointless to have to drive to chart to get red worms. I'd do what jeremy said
