I meant to say rigging up the rods for when you are anhored out and the when you are drifting with the current. Not actually anhoring out the boat.

You can use the same set up for fishing both ways. Liveliner has a sketch on here that works good, you can vary the set up to suit your needs. Always have your sinker below your bait, this helps to keep from hanging and also keeps the bait cleaner. You will notice that as you bump your bait on the bottom, the sinker will finally get mushroomed to some extent and the bait will get dirty from the mud bottom.
