We went to Watts Bar dam to look for stripers this morning and found 1 turbine running, about 10 boats (mostly out of state) and no stripers. We did manage to catch 2 drum over 20 pounds (what else) and 20 large White Bass so the trip wasn't a complete bust. I only saw 1 rockfish caught today between all those boats. People were catching drum mostly and a few were catching White bass. Water temp was 62 this morning and the morning was very pleasant. I may go late this afternoon and look for some bluegills or shellcrackers.
