white bass at Riverpark?

Haven't been on (or fiahing)in awhile and I scanned through the reports and didn't see any reports for white bass at the Riverpark. Anyone having any luck with them down there yet? Have they moved in and started schooling? Want to take the kids down and have a me fun with some easy to catch fish..

Was out last sunday with my dad. We put in at the ramp below the rail road bridge and the entire river was in the jumps below that bridge. Bass of all species were busting thread fin shad. 1/4 diamond dust rattle trap burned along just under the surface produced explosive strikes. boated probably 30 whites in the 2-4lb range.

Thanks for the info. Been throwing square bills and did not think about a trap.

Don't forget foley spoons for them as well, we where getting them and skipjack up by the rock pile last week also..

Yeah the whites have been exploding just about everywhere!!
