Parksville lake of course
I was looking at the list of Tennessee State Record fish (As of 2001). It says that the Tennessee state record white bass was at 5lb 2oz, pulled out of Parksville back in 1989...??? I've never CAUGHT OR SEEN one white bass out there. Anyone know if they used to be in the lake but died off?

BTW, this was a previous state record, until 2003 when the new record was caught out of the Mississippi River. (5lbs 10oz) </p><table width="345" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="3" bordercolor="#111111" border="1" style="border-collapse: collapse; text-align: center"><tbody><tr align="left"><td>White Bass </td> <td>5 lbs. 2 oz.</td> <td>4/22/89</td> <td>Parksville Reservoir</td></tr></tbody></table>

Crazy,

I have never saw a white bass in Parksville. I've been fishing Parksville for over 25 years and haven't ever saw one. My dad says he has never saw one in Parksville either and he's been fishing it close to 50 years. That doesn't mean there aren't any in there, just that I haven't saw any. I know there are walleye in Parksville as I have caught one but you don't hear about many being caught there.

crazy they are still there, just not in big numbers. They live down deep, most of the time.

Wow... It's unbalievable for a 5lber to come out of that lake with very few numbers! Walleye, another WOW. Never even thought of it either. I wonder if there could be any stripers in that lake...? It would be nice to have some there to catch.
