who do yall bank with?

I am getting a little cagey about keeping my money at Bank of America. I am thinking about switching banks and wondered what you guys used and how you liked it.

We use Dupont Community Credit Union , have had 1st TN , and Amsouth in past .. Dupont is the best bank Ive ever had, friendly and local, have an issue just call or stop by .. solved in minutes.. They dont have many branches but the have one in Soddy Daisy, East Brainerd Rd, and Hixson Pike. Hixson Pike is main Branch

Come on over to FSG Bank. We're local and we didn't get into all those bad mortgage deals that got the big banks in trouble. I work at the branch on Hwy 58 but we have a branch in East Ridge just for you Craig! emoThumbsup

Northwest Goergia Bank one of the few banks that is growing during all of this crazy stuff going on in the banks. I have reffered 5 people in the past few months and they told me that they are very happy with their move to a new bank that they never would have came to without me sending them there. And they also have the first GREEN BANK in chattanooga.

Tva credit union, southern heritage, are the banks i use. YOU CAN'T beat TVA's loan rates.

I could tell you horror stories from Bank of America and Suntrust...... but I won't. TVA Credit Union is BY FAR my best banking experience.

I`ll go with TVA -CU......Started with them in 1977 at Hartsville Nuclear Plant.......little one room set-up on site . Boats, cars ,houses.whatever you need !

I can tell you great things about Suntrust but I won't. Craig it really depends on what you want your bank for, I use three different ones right now.

+1 for FSG bank. Back in the days my wife and I were just getting started they were the only bank that would do anything for us. Kay Holley actually helped us get on our feet. Its hard to find a bank with personal service like that.

I have to agree with the comments about FSG. Very good bank. Plus having Fishin Junkie there is a big plus. Lots of personal service. I could also tell you horror stories about Amsouth and First Tennessee but I am sure there are lots to go around about just any bank out there.
