It's the season for these oranges-if you've never had one (and like oranges) you need to check them out!
I got some at Linda's Produce on Ringold Rd-they were ok but I've had much better! 3 for a dollar.
Al's produce has a banner ad on the forum, called them-$28 a 5th bushel (she said that was about 9 oranges) plus $10 shipping. About 4 bucks an orange-they're not THAT good.
If anybody is onto these oranges and knows where to get them locally-please post it!
Anyone that don't know what I'm talking about- they are a cross between a tangerine and a grapefruit. Sweet as honey and juice that runs down to your elbow. Only avaliable this month.

Better than Clemantines and easier to peel than a navel-not quite as easy as a Clemantine.BUT WELL WORTH IT!! Way better than a Clemantine-which is the next best.
Linda's has some, but the just aren't the best. My wife works for a Dr. that ordered some and gave us a couple and I'd take them over a free Alabama rig!

This black lady at the new i75 flea market she is inside and on the north side had the this past weekend and some honey tangerines .... oh my lord and you can mix and match the bag I think the quarter bushel bag was 12 bucks

Buy "Cuties"
They are sold in food stores, Walgreens etc.
The ones at WalMart are good but I have seen and had better at other stores.

Sweet, easy to peel and no seeds
I can eat 3 or 4 of them at a time.
They're small. take 2 emoLaugh

I'm hooked on them

I agree! A lady at work brought some around today and they were killer. The peel almost falls off and no seeds, perfect for snaking for sure.</p>

Went to Harvey's groves yesterday and bought some stuff.
