Any long time Lookouts fan should remember him.One of the most popular players of the late 70's to early 80s. He's now a coach with the Memphis Redbirds.

Yep, Mark Budaska, nicknamed Budda. Wasn't he on the first Lookouts team (A's) when they came back in '76. I believe the first game back was an 8-3 win and Budaska hit a grand slam late. I can't remember Budaska's position seems like outfield, right field maybe. Matt Keough was 3B, bazooka arm and no bat. Wound up becoming a pitcher, part of the A's turnaround and I believe a World Series appearance under Charlie Finley.

Baseball character trivia: Who was the former Lookout that was a whacky Cleveland Indian and opened beer bottles with his eye socket?

BUDA! BUDA! BUDA! DING! DING! DING! You got it Kevin. Used to clean the stadium after the night games back then when I was a kid. He and Rene Lachman used to bum cigarettes off me.
