Willow flies still on Chick?

Have not been on Chick since the willow flies started flying. Just wondering if they are still hatching.

Didn't see any today. Lots last week.

They were thik along the steep bank at HBSP looking right across from the little island. We caught tons of panfish last night.

Thanks SpurHunter. I went Tuesday and didn't see many at all. I guess you have to be in the right spot.

I dont know much about those, but maybe it was a hatch? They were thick enough to catch them with your hands at-will standing on the boat...kinda freaked the kids out thoughemoLaugh

most of hatch upriver already happened might want to look downriver below pinkys and on toward the dam. we still could have a few hatches up but the big ones seem to be over.last yr they did reverse and hit the middle of river again after the first few waves.happy huntin

just got off the water at CF and if you go out to the river and take a left and down that bank it was covered with willow flies. They are still hatching in alot of diff places on the river.
