I finally took a day off to do some Bass fishing on Lake Guntersville. The wind was out of the west and it was howling, the temp was 46 degrees at 5:eek:o A.M. Man what a great day to take off and travel to the Big G. The fish are on the river right now on the lake and the grass is a head of last year this time. The wind was blowing so hard by 9:00 it was tough to stay out on the river. Tried topwater early before the wind never got a rise. Finally got a hookup on the Nine inch worm. Tough day, 3 feet whitecaps before noon Gave up at 3:00 with two keepers two slicks and two lost . God Bless

Nice catch Biofisher I! Thanks for the info and the post. It looks like a few good fish fell to you today! emoThumbsup Glad to hear things are looking up down there. I am supposed to fish there June 1st and need info. Thanks again for the post. Good Job!!!!

Nice looking fish Bio. We need to go down there together some time. I was really excited to get down there for the CFF this spring. Hard to believe such great water so close and I'd never been down there. Was there much current when you were down there or was it hard to tell with all the wind?

I launched out of Waterfront. I teach Biology. The wind was stronger than the current flow. I think I hit all the questions that were asked. On the river is the place to be right now on lake Guntersville. God Bless
