I finally took a day off to do some Bass fishing on Lake Guntersville. The wind was out of the west and it was howling, the temp was 46 degrees at 5o A.M. Man what a great day to take off and travel to the Big G. The fish are on the river right now on the lake and the grass is a head of last year this time. The wind was blowing so hard by 9:00 it was tough to stay out on the river. Tried topwater early before the wind never got a rise. Finally got a hookup on the Nine inch worm. Tough day, 3 feet whitecaps before noon Gave up at 3:00 with two keepers two slicks and two lost . God Bless
