Just a week left guys. There's still chances at Soddy Tackle and at Castle's in Whitwell. If you can't get there you can Paypal me the funds and I'll fill out tickets for you just like Richard Simms did this morning. Thanks Richard!!!

It's a 2012 Honda Rancher 4x4. It will be camo in color with boot guards. There are secondary prizes of a trip with Mid South Bass Guide worth $300. A trip with Fish Lake Guntersville Guide Service worth $300. A night in a cabin and Dinner for 2 at Jim Oliver's Smokehouse in Monteagle worth $200. A $100 gift certificate to Soddy Custom Tackle. A $100 gift certificate to Castle's Outdoors. A $100 gift card to Academy Sports + Outdoors.

Tickets are $10.00. They will be at Soddy Tackle and Castle's Outdoors soon.

Proceeds benefit the NBT Tennessee District.

Drawing will be November 18 at the Smokehouse in Monteagle in conjunction with the NBT TN District awards banquet.

I'm probably going to wait until Friday to pick up the tickets there. NO YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE PRESENT TO WIN. I have people that have bought tickets from all over. Some from other NBT districts in other states and friends in other states. No way I could make folks be present for the drawing. I will have the 4-wheeler there at the drawing and whoever wins it will have to come pick it up. I can mail the other certificates to anyone that wins those.

I will post the winners of all on Facebook, the NBT site and here late Friday night.

Again if you cannot get to a place to get tickets you can Paypal me. Richard Simms did just that as well as some other non-CFF folks have.

Big Thank You to Thomas Wilson for the tickets he's getting via Paypal. Thomas as per normal YOU ARE THE MAN!. Anyone else that decides to get them via Paypal please send the funds as a "Gift" so they don't take the fees out. Still plenty of time to get in guys.

LOL Sam. Hank is thinking something similar since he doesn't have one at all. Gonna be a lot of people watching the drawing and I think I'm going to make at least one or more film it with a phone too. We will have plenty of proof that the winner is drawn fair and square and they'll just have to rely on their luck. You just need to show up and watch. Then you can just take it back to Coalmont if you win.

BTW everything is paid for on this....TAXES AND ALL. So when you win it you owe NOTHING. Chances are almost gone at Castle's in Whitwell. There's still several at Soddy Tackle. You think you guys can get those bought up before I go after them mid morning tomorrow?

I will be on the road most of the day tomorrow taking care of everything for the banquet, gathering up all the sold chances and everything else I have to do. BTW the goal was to sell 1000 tickets and have around $3000 of profit from this to use to do some things next year and maybe help with the Grundy High School team or if we can get a combined High School tournament on Chick or Nick early in 2012 to help these kids warm up for the big UTC tourney.

Well we sold 902 of the tickets and I'm looking at around $2100 of profit due to a discount from the fishing guides and the 4-wheeler price changing to a lower price before I picked it up. So this was a very successful fundraiser. Thank you to everyone that bought a ticket and everyone that sold tickets.

One thing we will do next season for the 1 day tournaments as an incentive for adults who bring juniors because some think that handicapps them against the other adults.... The adult with the _Winning_ junior in the boat will get their entry fee back after the tourney. So if your junior wins and you didn't do well you fished for free. If you both win??? You get a bonus! So would you try NBT now with your junior?
