I always have been told to store full. That way there is less room for condensation (sweat) from the tempature changes. Plus ethenol attracts moisture so it will pull in into the fuel. JMO...

Manufactors recommend storing full of fuel..Especially with todays ethanol....Just treat ur tank after filled, this will prevent varnish fuel when spring time comes...Treat it if u can with the Stabil Ethanol Stabilizer..it can purchased at walmart , it's bout 20 bucks a quart..Treats 300 + gals tho... Hope that helps some... Thanks Keith

Thanks for te advise guys thats what I thought I don't have to worry about ethanol I don.t use it I just have to put in a shutoff valve of some kind so I can run it out of fuel Any suggestion as what kind to use?

Run the engine out of fuel???? Sometimes is is very easy to drain the carb completly. This will keep any varnish from building. By just alowing the engine to "run out" of fuel there will be some left and a chance of varnish. JMO.......

Thanks James I mainly want the shut off for in between trips during the rest of the year Sometimes it sits for a couple between trips

Full and stabil. It works and should be fine. I use stabil in mine in the winter but rarely will mine sit for more then three weeks without finding it's way to the lake in between hunting trips. You know in the winter is some of the best crappie fishing the chick has to offer. emoBigsmile I have never had a problem with mine in the winter since putting stabil in it for the winter. emoThumbsup Jmax
