WLG catches BIG cat at Seqouah 9-24-2006

Hello all. Took a couple days off work this week to go after the big cats at the nuke plant. Thursday and Friday sorta struck out even though we did catch some fish. My little girl Chelsea caught her personal best 10lber and My Brother in law caught a PB also...12lber. Then I really wasnt planning on going back out today but a good friend came over and wanted to go fishing and my wife ( and best friend ) also wanted to go. So I looked at the weather and it looked like we a had a large enough window in the rain to go try it for a little while...and boy am I glad they talked me into it. We were only there for about an hour and a half and we caught 4 fish. 1 flathead..2lbs and 3 Blues..3lb...6lb...and then my personal best of all time....32LBS!!!!!!!emoToast I fought him for about 30 minutes and it was well worth it to see this ol BOY. Man it was GREAT!!!! When my buddy hoisted him in the boat he was straining pretty bad.emoBigsmile emoBigsmile I want to give a special THANK YOU to Fishing Machine For showing me how to catch these big fish and by the way you are right... once you catch one of these fish you are hooked .. I will be back every chance I get.. By the way he was released safely to fight again another day...emoSmile

nothing like a big cat tugging on the end of your line. Sounds like you are really on to them. You better post a pic tonight! I'm looking forward to seeing a big ole grin on your face with a trophy cat.

Posted Pics...I almost forgot about the fish in the last pic...it was 18 lbs. All fish were caught on skipjack . This was soooo much fun. I will be back next weekend.
