WOE IS ME!!!

I've been on vacation since Dec. 28, and have hunted every day. You might say that I've "hunted myself sick". Ran a fever last night, got a killer cough, and just don't feel good. I decided to stay in this morning and not go hunting. So, I got up this morning, fixed biscuits and tenderloin (out of a doe that got too close on Wednesday), felt a little better, but when I mentioned that I might hook up the boat and run to the Nick, the warden went CRAZY!!! She just doesn't understand!!

So, it looks like I'll be stuck in the house today. I might put in "Lonesome Dove" since I've got a day to kill. Tomorrow's the last day of TN deer season, so I'll have to go, sick or not. Hopefully I'll be paroled by then.
