Wolftever 3.18.07 Crappie Water Temp 57F

Fished today from 3-dark and caught 42 crappie with 15 keepers. Trolling was the method, even in the wind. Had to find some areas where the wind was manageable. Trolled 4 rods and it kept us busy. Pink and white was the color of choice for the bigger ones. We trolled in channel as opposed to shallow and that is where we caught the bigger fish. I would recommend staying deeper for now. The bigger fish seem to have not moved real shallow YET.

When did you actually fish til dark? It ain't dark yet and I think this is the 18th. J/K

That was me in the red hat...were you all down in that area too? Saw several boats in that area on Saturday. Did you end up doing any good?

we caught 6 you guys were tearing them up. I need to go with one of you trollers and learn how to do it that way. Your boat is set up really well for trolling around. I was in a monark with a force motor.
