Took pops out again today for the last hurrah! I wanted to find some good fish since the weather turned cold. He had all intentions of tearing them up on topwater and I knew the bite would be slow. Today was much better than Saturday. Much warmer and the wind was way down. Same plan today, white spinnerbaits and chatterbaits...but nothing. So we switched to crawdad colored crankbaits and wore them out. Caught 21 bass from 5pm to 8pm fishing laydowns. 2jigs, were you in the Bullet? We were puttering in right behind you I believe. Also think we saw Ram Jack out there. I need to get a CFF sticker on my new boat so I can meet y'all. Anyway, GREAT day today and my dad is going back to snow covered Indiana a happy guy. He also bought me a GPS for my birthday!emoParty Our biggest today was a 3.5lb largemouth. Our largest 5 was probably 13-14 lbs.

Yep! That was us. I'm in the red Ranger and red Chevy Colorado. I believe you talked to my dad while he was bringing the truck down. Glad to hear you got a whopper! I was marking big fish like crazy about 20-30 feet from the bank. We were fishing directly on the back and laydowns fishing cranks. We were having too much fun catching fish to slow it down and pitch jigs/worms. I'll stop and say hi next time I see you out!

Great report, glad to hear they are starting to bite in the wolf. It's about time. Crappie have been on for a while but not too many good bass reports have come out of the wolf this year yet. thanks for sharing, emoThumbsup Jmax
