The wife and I went to Wolftever for a little swimmin' and fishin'. Put in a little after 3pm and ran to a quiet cove to swim. Swam around for a while then I practiced fishing a Sammy cause I can't "walk the dog" worth a flip. Drug a worm for a little while with no takers. Bout 7:30pm I decided I wanted to try a bank I caught a 3lber a few weeks ago. T-rigged a Junebug Zoom Ol Monster on a 4/0 Gammy EWG with a 1/4oz of tungsten and started draggin that. Missed a bite at the end of a big, long lay-down so I fired another cast right back down the side of it. Got to the end and got another bite and stuck the fish this time. Wouldn't come up at first and I thought I had a drum, then it came up and jumped, definately not a drum. Scaled to 4lbs15ozs (I'll call it 5lbs). Took some pics with the phone cause I forgot the digicam in the truck. Let her go, took another dip myself and came to the house.
I need a good set of scales, I had to flag a guy down to weigh it. I told him about CCF. Thanks whoever you were!
