Wolftever Crappie 3.10.07

Water temp was 57F and the fishing was hot when I first got there at 3pm. Caught 10 fish in the first hour and half or so, then they stopped bitting or moved. Had several fish wiggle themselves to freedom as well. Trolled 4 rods with tube jigs and ended up with 16 Crappie. Only 5 were keepers. Seems like a lot of shorts being caught by folks this year. A good day on the water and had some good sized crappie to keep and eat. This was my first real productive trip this spring.

Where are some other creeks that are productive for trolling on the Chickamauga?

Jerdog, I was there today also, did you see my green Ranger? I was wondering how many others were CFF members but there were so many people I quit looking. Did you get checked by the Warden? He passed me twice but never stopped. I found mine holding very tight to wood a little out from the bank. I was pitching a tube and never tried to troll.emoCool Jmax

I did not see the Warden. I have never been checked in my life! I want them to check me just once in my lifetime

I don't remember seeing a green Ranger. I have a sticker on my windshield and will have to look for you in the future.
