wolftever crappies today 3/17/2007

We went to wolftever today and caught 6 keepers all the keepers came on something with chartruese in them. we were catching our fish really shallow most of them in 2-4 feet of water. We caught maybe 40 or 50 but only the six keepers. It wasn't a great day but at least it we were on the water. I think the cold front shut them down for me. From the looks of Richards report we should have been trolling.

Thanks for the report. If the weather will hold somewhat stable, they should be doing really good in a week or so. It is good to hear they are that shallow already.
