Hey guys thinking about starting a evening tourn. from 6:45 till 9:45 at wolftever 20$ a boat and 5$ big fish trying to see how many would be interested maybe thursday or friday just wondering if we will have enough.let me know and we'll try it.

I think being just 3hrs we will stay with 3 fish limit. Or what ever everyone wants to do.I like the 3 fish thing myself. 15in for Lm,and 18in Sm.

You would be competing against the Thursday and Friday night's out of Harrison bay.

I think those last till 2:AM I really don't like fishing that late. 9:45 is plenty late enough for me.

No not trying to compete just trying to get a little bit later start time for the folks that have to work later.Also trying to keep it short so your not away from family to long.

For my 2 cents ( means very little), I would move it down river to the dam, just to stay away from the other dogfight crowds. I like the entry fee, fish limit, and the times. Winner take all, or does that depend on the turnout?

I guess it would depend on the boats i would like to have it there because i work in Chatt. but i live in Cleveland and thats about middle way.

Just from past experience winner take all for 5 boats or less, then pay 1 place for each 5 boats.

Split it 50/30/20 for the three places if you have 15 boats or more.

Split if 60/40 for 1st and 2nd with less than 10 boats but more than five.

OR

Make it winner take all.

That sounds fine to me popeyedpete sounds like that would work out good.Ya'll would just have to try and help me a little bit this is the first tournment i would be trying to put together.

I would be intrested because I am new to bass fishing and need to get a little tourn experience. I like the entry fee and all the rules. I would fish on my off days and nights.

I would like to see one on Friday nights. I already fish the Thurs Night out of HBSP, and I dont want to fish til 2am in the friday dogfight. Wolftever ramp is usually pretty empty after dark too. I would be very interested

Here are some rules we were discussing off line:

3 fish limit (no dead fish)

15 greens.
18 browns.

I got with Ratman last night and we worked out a few details:

The first Wolftever Dogfight will take place on Friday August 1st from 6:45PM to 9:45 PM.

Entry fee is $20 per boat.
Big Fish pot is $5 (optional)

100% payback of entry fees will be paid in winnings.

Big fish pot is optional and is stand alone. Biggest fish by weight wins the pot.

All boats entered must be on the ramp side of the bridge and ready to dock at 9:45PM

3 fish limit (no dead fish)

15 greens.
18 browns.

Places Paid: (depending on boats entered)

5 boats or less will be winner take all.

Split entry fees 60%/40% between 1st and 2nd place with less than 10 boats but more than five.

Split entry fees 50%/30%/20% for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places if we have 10 boats up to 15.

If we have 15 boats or more entered we will pay a place for each five boats entered.

The formula will be as follows:

15 boats (first place 40%, second place 30%, third place 15%, fourth place 10%, fifth place 5%)

More than 15 boats takes more math than I am willing to do. LOL
