hey, on the deep fish try using a drop shot with a white fluke. S L O W AND E A S Y. you should also try the fluke on the topwater issue....lots of luck..........FA

Give a small silver jigging spoon a try for the deep fish. If they are white bass (pretty likely if you are seeing a lot of fish on the graph) they will tear it up. Fun!

At Parksville when you see fish chasing shad, throw a weightless white trick worm and jerk it 2-3 times then let it sink for 5 seconds or less (repeat this process)

Do you not ever read my reports from Parksville?

well i do read them and i have use most the stuff i have been told on here but i seem not to be able to have any luck and what size of hook would u use with the trick worm thks for the help

I usually go with a 3/0, not to big nor to small... Hey in a couple weeks the white worm fishing should pick up really well... But for now you won't get anything on the white worms just fishing them towards the bank... your best bet right now with white worms would be waiting up in the middle of a slough in deep water for the bass to come up and chase shad... when one jumps cast right away and they will usually take it right down, but if you take to long they will just go back down to deeper water. Best time right now is from safelight til around 9AM...

My mom and I will be up there in the morning fishing all our hotspots for a while and plan to come off around 9am. Not a long trip, because the bite slows way way way down after the first 2-3 hours of light!

If you are up there in the morning and see us (blue bumble bee) be sure to stop by and say hey while we're fishing!
