Woods Tourny- 4/29/06

Well everyone but one boat had a limit. And he had a 5 lber, so he wasn't crying too bad. 12.40lbs. won & we have three teams(in the series) within .70lbs of each other. Tried to rember all the advice every one gave me, but my partner hooked a 3ft. snake messing around and I forgot my own name , much less what some one told me on the CFF the week before. We finally found some carolina rig fish down by the dam. We go back in about a month so I'll try to get with you about going up to the woods flip one. That was the weirdest looking snake though. It had a blunt tail like a viper , but I think it had round eyes. At least they looked round as I was running to the other end of the @@#$%$#@#$ boat. Can you imagine purposely hooking a snake anytime at all much less rite in the middle of a bass tourny. I mean am I wrong or would anyone else be mad about that?

Yeah, I might get a little hot about someone flipping a snake into the boat. The copperheads are out in full force right now cruising the edges of rip-rap in search of minnows. I've seen several in the four foot range along the banks of Booker T. I actually caught one last year on a Yum crawbug...unintentionally.

This mind you is wile we're fishin a little dogfight. But the weight is added to our 6 tourny. series. The guy is about 30 & don't get me rong I think the world of him. But he just needs to keep focused.emoBang
