emoBang well what a deal. disconnected all my batteries to put new ends on cables and to clean.now I cant remember how to paralel all three back for 24 36 trolling motor.ever do that silly thing.Ihate it when it happens to me. oh well i am sure someone will help me with out yelling at me wrightemoEnforce

Well I typed in some info and after posting it I relized I was wrong but will double check and be right back to yea.
Sorry Old age moment.emoScratch

Now lets try this again.

We are going to put 3 batteries in a line so to speak

Battery one connect the red wire from the positive post to the red wire on the trolling motor.
Frm no. 1 batery negitive post to positive post on no 2 battery the jumper goes.

A jumper goes from the negitive post on no 2 battery to the positive post on no 3 battery.

Run the black wire from the negitive post on no 3 battery to the trolling motor.
This will give you 36 volts

The orange lead will go to the positive on the no 2 battery

Hope I didn't cornfuse you if I did I can e-mail you the diag but it is in PDF form.

This should help:

I think the post above with the 3 batteries is correct for your set-up. The orange wire going to the second battery is for the 24 volt switch on your motor. With the switch on 36 volt, the orange wire circuit is open giving you 36 volts from all three batteries.

well there is not a orange wire. only red and black cables running from thw bats to the front of the boat.emoBang WO wiv me.dont know what there designation is.red power black ground.what a predic?.dont ask why i disconnected them. one of those can do moments.thanks

you know if i were just jumping each batt your scematic would help .but my cables go from batts tofront of boat.hadr to paralel if i dont see where they r going. make senceemoHoppingmad

Is your motor 24 and 36 volt? If so, I dont see how it can be switched from 36 to 24 with only the 2 wires, but theres a whole lot of stuff I dont understand.

BBass had a good drawing of this, where you at Billy?

He is saying its a 24/36 with 4 black wires and 2 red I believe. Thats why I asked him if there are 3 or 4 batteries total. I cant figure what the fourth black wire would be for??

OK this is the 1990ish Bumble Bee, right? No telling how that this is wired, I give up.

emoBeer well a little c.c on the rocks did help. I now have only 2 red 2 black running to the front.I have power to the trolling motor but not sure if its 24 or 36 volt. cant unberstand why it had a black cable looped backemoBang what a bummer that was.i am gunna drink more whisky then i should be able to fix any thing.ha ha .its workin 1/2 was. dont think fish no or care do they. nice chatten with you ...gary c ya
