Congrats on the line class record!
As I see it, Chick and Nick are not the best fisheries in the chain, but improving. Below Nick, close to world class! G'ville for LM and Wheeler/ Wilson for SM. Don't know much about catfishing, but for bass I'd have to call Chick/ Nick 2nd class. The difference between Chick 20 years ago and today is amazingly dramatic. There are more and bigger bass now than ever! I fish the Chick a couple of times a week, and I'm not gonna complain...I love it! But "world class"? Maybe in another 5 years...emoToast
Now, when you talk world class for bass, did anyone see that Toyota tourney on Lake Fork, TX on the tube last weekend? Geez, them were some BIG bass! Interesting format, as well! 4-man teams in 2 boats, catch and release w/ a judge in the boat tallying the weights. 2 different 2-man teams caught over 200 lbs of LM bass each in 2 days! Lake law - any fish less than 24" must be released immediately. Very cool lake and tourney! Ike and KVD didn't make the final cut.
