Good question. History on the Clones. Captain Ken Daubet has been hand crafting what he calls Designer Frogs which are made one by one by his own hands. Problem is that they are very pricey. $50 apiece. They are available for $50 on his site www.bass-frog.com Ken created the affordable mass produced option which I sell - The Clones. I've tested and fished both the Designers & the Clones. The action is the same & the results are equal. Good luck with either option you choose.

In 2011, www.reelgoodguide.com is having a unique picture contest. We encourage customers to email us with their photos of Bass caught with the Clones. We are going to make a wall with entries & at the end of August we are going to send out a vote to all of our customers & followers. 1st-3rd place vote getters will receive an Original Frog from Captain Ken Daubert valued at $50. 4th-6th will receive a replicant frog valued at $30. 7th-10 will receive a Clone Frog of their choice valued at $9.99.

Each Clone Frog comes with 1 hook and 10 extra rubber weed guards. We've been running a special promotion lately where if you purchase any frog other than Frog #1 (Light Green Pickerel) we will include an extra 3 hook set free!
Frog #1 has always kinda dominated in the sales race, so we're just trying to bump the other 5 frogs along with the hook promo. I personally like the Black & Yellow Poisen dart frog the best!

The frogmen can choose to sell the Clones person to person on a website or you may target tackle shops. The Frogs are packaged 48 frogs per case - ( six colors - 8 of each) Frogmen can purchase a case of frogs for $257 shipped right to your door. That's $5.35 per frog. You should sell the frogs for $9.99. If you can secure any tackle shop accounts & get them to commit to a case, they will receive the same price. You intern will receive a $30 commission for every tackle shop account that you can acquire. Each time that shop orders a case into the future you will continue to receive the $30 commission. Skitter Legs & Rear Stinger hook packages have been shipped! They should be available by late May early June.
The Skitter Legs has an all together different action then that of the original kicking legs. It basically turns these frogs into weedless buzzbaits! The packages will contain 4 different sets of skitter legs & of course the rear stinger hook which almost never misses a strike.
I will keep everyone posted when we actually have them to sell.

Update: Our new product - Skitter Legs & Rear Stinger hook system will be available the first week in June. For those of you that don't know, the Skitter legs will possess an entirely different action than the original kicking legs model. The Skitter Legs putters providing a buzzing sensation to the top of the water. The rear stinger hook has been designed in a way in which the angler almost never misses a strike. It's essentially 2/3 of a treble hook which allows the frog to pass over weeds & vegetation with ease. The Stinger can be rigged with both the Skitter & Original Kicking legs.
