hubby made this last night for dinner from the loin off the deer Kathy gave me ... HOLY COW ... I mean .. HOLY DEER it was delicious! Try it.
1 lb Venison Tenderloin steaks sliced 1/2 inch thick
1 tsp lawry's Season salt
1/4 c olive oil
12 oz sliced fresh mushrooms
1 large onion sliced
1 green peppper cut into chunks
1 red pepper cut into chunks
1/4 c soy sauce
Sprinkle venision with lawry's and set aside. Heat oil in large skillet over medium high heat add onions and mushrooms, stir fry until onions are transparent. Add red and green peppers and stir fry for two minutes. Drop tenderloin slices into hot skillet and fry quickly just until juices come to the top of the meat. Turn and fry for 1 m inute more. Add soy sauce. Reduce heat to medium and cook uncovered for 5 minutes.
Very good when you add wild rice to the plate.
I give this recipe 5 stars and the cook who put it together ... double that!
