We put the rebuilt powerhead on the other day, and needed a couple of carburetor gaskets, which he picked up today.... we went to the lake this evening to start the break-in emoSmile
Cranked right up ... idled for about 10 mins, and James said "Let's go!" emoTongue
We idled out of the no wake zone, and she popped up on plane and we started cruising emoCool Worked like a charm emoThumbsup Can't wait to get through the break-in and get her dialed in. It's hard to keep from hammering down and seeing what it will do emoBigsmile
James did a really good job and pays attention to detail. I learned more from him about how these motors work than I thought I'd ever know... thx James! emoToast

emoThumbsup Congrats Taz!! The break in period will kill you, at least it not 30deg like when I did mine, We are hooking up thursday to dial in mine and then ready to fish for a while,James is da'man on motors emoWorthy

Yeah!!!! yours was COLD and his was RAINING. I bet it didn't turn over 2 rounds and fired up! I got you penciled in for thursday. Need to get my chopper back so we can try a few more props on it. Later!!

emoThanks emoThanks emoThanks for the kind words!!!!

I can't wait to see how she does!!!! But you can go out a fish. You don't have to break it in in 1 day!!!LOL!

let me know how she does and i may be the next one to dive in head first, sounds like james really knows them engines inside and out!
