James, I have a 1995 Mercury 60 hp; runs like a dream. If it was yours would you disable the oiler and go manual?

I would remove, but that is MY opinion! Any Mercury I build DOES not get the oil injection put back on if they want a warranty. Evinrude and Johnsons on the other hand is the customers choice.

WE REMOVED MINE WHEN JAMES BUILT MY MOTOR I TRUST MYSELF TP MIX THE OIL RIGHT MORE THEN A MECHNICAL PART.. IF THAT PART BREAKS YOU GOT BIG ISSUES

I had James remove my oil injection from my 95 Merc. 90 for less than 1/2 the price Sportsman on Bonny Oaks wanted to charge me. He gets ALL my motor work from now on.

Steve, are you THINKING about actually uncovering that boat and taking it to the river?! emoPoke

Just put a new regulator on it, two new deep cycle batteries and a 798C SI COMBO; gonna remove the oiler and head to Calderwood.
