I couldn't get any friends to get up early so I went alone, launched about 7am at WT and fished the creek until 4:30 pm. The weather was so nice, even had a little breeze. Tried some topwater (Pop R) with no luck, threw a couple small rebel crank baits with no luck, tried floating lizard with no luck, then about 9am began fishing 6" worms (some red and some blue) in about 10 to 15 ft and that seemed to work all day. Caught 10 lm with 3 being keeper size, largest about 2+ lbs. Water temp was 79 in the am and 82 in the pm. Also, lasso'd a white bass, a first for me as it wasn't hooked, the line was wrapped around him with the hook caught over a fin, not imbedded. It was nice to fish without TONS of ski boats, only a few today.
