WTB F150 New Truck..Advice

I am interested in buying a new Ford F150 2 wheel drive, 4 door truck. Do you guys have an opinion on whether to go with a 3.5 L V-6 EcoBoost or 5.0 L V-8? Your thoughts and ideas appreciated.</p>

My boat is pulled up Signal Mtn. and is single axle trailer. Stratos 186.</p>

5.0 all the way! Ecoboost is gonna put Ford out of business when all the turbos start going out.

Not a Ford guy myself, but I'd definitely go with the V8. The bigger the better! I'm not a fuel economy guy either by the way lol.

5.0 getting better gas mileage than the Eco boost

The ecoboost 3.5 is a much stronger engine. That being said, I would go with a Tundra.

Eco boost is strong but I'll take a tried and true 5.0 over this new stuff until I hear the turbo problems have been addressed. Just like.the problem they had with the dreaded 5.4

Yep 5.0 all the way. That ecoboost wont outlast the 5.0 and as said the gas mileage isnt any different.

I dove an '14 F-150 all the way to western kentucky and back this past weekend. It was the 5.0 and was very strong and comfy ride. According to the dash computer, we got 11 mpg going both ways.
