... go and buy a long crappie rod at any sporting goods store and put a spinning reel on it! fishinvol gave me an education on this FNF "thang" and he was right! I did buy a FNF rod at Dick's. Found it by accident looking for a crappie rod!? A Jim Duckworth signature that was $99, marked down to $79, then to $59 and finally $24! If it says FNF on it it will cost a lot more than if it says Crappie!
They don't make them anymore, but you can find them online randomly. Eagle Claw Granger crappie rod. 8-10 ft medium/light. Just remember sensitivity doesn't mean squat when finding a fnf rod. All about the leverage and little bit of backbone.
