Re: WTB

I know this doesn't help, the guy I bought my bandsaw from, had a really nice ryobi 14" chop saw for $50 also. The guy posted several times with no response. One day was cutting some aluminium channel and though, I need a band saw. Looked on craigs and call him and bought it the next day. Then I stupidly left it cutting unattended and the 2x2 aluminium stock slipped and put the motor in a bind and I came back to find my garage full of smoke. This was day # 3 of owning it. I bought a new Baldor 3 phase 230V 1hp motor and put on it. Now am waiting on new blades. So DON"T leave them!!!LOL.

I have a 12 inch throat horizontal Kalamazoo But I would have to have $500 for it. It is about 5' long. I put a 220 volt single phase motor on it so you can use it anywhere.

You can get blades at Walter A. Wood and (I Think) Challenge Supply. The carry reels of different blade sizes and cut and weld whatever size you need. Mine is a 1" by 110"

wrechin2 - 1/27/2009 4:06 PM Did you ever get that Argon bottle the was on craigs???

I really appreciate the post but I think a 12" would be a little to much for me right now. I dont have a shop just my garage, so space is a premium. That's a good price on that saw though.

Sorry you missed it. I have seen a couple here and there. DId you get one though? If I see one I will let you know about it.

I have got one I bought this summer at Home depot it is made by Ridgid . im asking 200.00

I will let you know if I see one pop up. I got new blades for mine tonight. I have a TON of aluminum I have to cut. I have been making Nitrous plates for a guy for 5.0L fords, have to make a spacer for a turbo, cut angle for jack plates, square stock for JPs, and the guy shorted me 1 blade. Will keep a lookout for both for you. Later
