Do they work pretty well? I've never seen one.

They are only 4-6 inches long...I really like them...My bro-in-law dropped a half moon in the other night...sank like a rock...that's why I am looking...new ones are 129 for half and 159 for full...trying t save a few bucks and find a used one...probably few and far between
