i am looking to move up form a 270 to a 300 mag or so but dont care for a fancy rifle i have a remington 700 adl 270 wood stock blued but i am looking for more knock down at 600 + yards just in case would trade scopes but really would like to keep mine

My rifle is not at all fancy. It is just a plain utility firearm. What makes it better and more expensive is that it is an ultralight 6 pound rifle with precision barrel and action. Now the scope is another story it is as good as they come state of the art optics.
