............your fishing bucket that is. It would be intresting to share each other's dream fishing trip. Mine would be a Canadian fly-in trip to one of those lakes where you can catch smallmouth 'till your arms are tired. The people there seem to put much more emphasis on walleye and don't get that excited about smallmouth like us "good 'ol boys" do. I'm sure some of you guys have done that and if so tell us about your experience.emoFish emoThanks

Canada DOES have great smallmouth fishing, but there are SOOOOOOO many more fish to catch there. It's a "DREAM" fishing trip dude! Northern Pike!?!?!? Muskies??!?!?!?!?! Walleyes!?!?!?!? (can anyone say shore lunch???) crappies!?!?!?!? Perch!?!?!?!?!??! In the three pound variety? Farther north and catch artic greyling? Long list of fish you can catch in Canada.
But I've been there done that.... I've always wanted to go to Alaska and catch a little of everything.... salt water and fresh. You can fish a heck of a lot of species in a 10 day "DREAM" trip.

KW, just about every fishing trip is a "dream" trip to me anymore. I don't care how big, or what species. I just love catching fish.

I'm with the DrumKing, all are great. I just love being on the water, catching fish is a plus. Just seeing God's creation up close and having a healthy appreciation fo His creation of the nature around us is a dream to me. As far as a "dream trip", I have thought that catching the Peacock Bass in South/Central America would be really fun.

A top water bite that lasts all day and where everybody has fun.
That will be Saturday, I am not sure about the topwater thing, but we will have fun..........

Gimme a charter boat full of some of my best CFF buddies down in the Gulf and I'd be good. Of course, there would have to be an iced-down bucket of cold beers and some good music on board.

I've also dreamed of a golf/fishing weekend with Jimmy Buffett and Greg Norman for years. Two good dudes ... two good ways to burn a weekend...

I'll have to admit that the all-day topwater bite sounds pretty doggone good too.

Although a Canadian trip would be great, I would love to fish the Amazon tributaries for Peacock bass and massive cats. My next choice would be Canada and then trout fishing in New Zealand
