Please allow me some blatant self-promotion. I would like to invite CFF'ers to attend my book signing at Rock Point Books at 7 pm, Friday, July 27th. Rock Point Books is in downtown Chattanooga at 401 Broad St. Of course I've been gently pushing An Outdoor State of Mind for a while. I'm proud to have the opportunity to share it publicly, and deathly afraid no one will show up! I would be honored for any of my CFF friends to attend.

27th you say??? Hmmm ... just so happens I might be able to do that.

I'd bring my book to sign, but its been read by several folks and all the travel it has had .. makes it a bit unsightly to look at. So much for pristine condition! But its still readable and that's all that really matters.

Richard, thanks for the invitation and ordinarilly I'd be there but this Friday I'm tied up all evening with a birthday celebration for a friend. Good luck.

Richard, wish I could make it but work prevails.  The book is really good and I have enjoyed reading it. Hope a lot of folks shows up for this and if you haven't got a copy of the book yet, you really need to! Great reading!

richard can you get that book on cd or tape im a real so reader and would take me a long time to finsh it and dont think my oldest daughter would read it to me emoCool

No Sir... I'm afraid I'm not that sophisticated yet. However, it is actually a series of very short stories that are well-designed to read just a little bit at a time.

My signing is tonight... I'd be very proud to see a few CFF faces in the room.

Well, thank goodness that's over. emoBigsmile I've been as nervous as a cat in a roomful of rocking chairs. But it sure was reassuring to see so many CFF faces in the crowd... MadBomber, Fat Albert, Whisler, enmreal, several other good fishing friends and a few folks from the TNDeer.com forum. MB, I hope you didn't get a ticket. And FA, I hope you found your way back to the car. Whisler, I'm guessing I'll see you again on the river in just an hour or two. And those who couldn't make it, I know your hearts were with me. emoHeart Thanks for the support. Life is good and gettin' better everyday.
 
Glad your event was a success! We were going to be on the water at 6:30 this morning but the weather.com radar is showing a pretty good rain shower coming in from Nashville area. We may wait it out...Save us a few. emoBigsmile

Agreed... after previous post I looked at radar. Just called clients and suggested we call for a "2 hour rain delay."

It sure was nice getting to meet Richard, Fat Albert, enmreal, and others. I did miss out on the reading and am really disappointed. I just didn't realize that was going to take place. Bummer!! I went rushing off to eat with the family and missed out. Well, I still enjoyed my time with you all and hope to see you again soon.

Hope the rain clears out so you can fish. Our family will be taking the Boater Safety Course today. Take care and be careful out there.

Richard, I couldn't make it. But I thought of you and knew some of our folks would come through for you. I think I might have been the 1st CFFer to read the book! Other than family! I have passed it on to several and now have it back again to pass to more. It's a great book.

Thanks all... FA, you're forgiven. emoBigsmile Man you had me worried. Sunshine, so sorry I forgot to mention you among the CFF'ers. Blame it on nerves. I knew I'd forget somebody. emoBang It really meant a lot to see everyone and so many have e-mailed their support. Just another reason to be proud of our CFF Family. emoGrouphug
