    Will a side image transducer mounted on the jack plate give correct depth readings in sonar mode when the boat is on plane ? Thinking about putting one on my boat. If you cannot get accurate readings on plane what type of setup do most of you use ?

    Helix vs Helix G2N

    Has anyone compared the original Helix to the new Helix G2N ? Does the new model show a lot more detail in the sonar mode. I have the Helix 7 now . I am looking to upgrade. Thanks

    Watts Bar ?

    We went and fished Sunday morning. It was cold and windy. We were able to catch 3 fishing bluff walls, one of which was a decent smallmouth. Catching the smallmouth was worth the trip for me. All fish were caught on the ned rig.

    Remington 260 loads

    I have killed two deer with the sst's . Both deer dropped with in sight. They did not leave much of an exit hole. I am worried if they had ran it would be no blood to trail by. The bullet basically exploded inside the deer. Have you had this happen ?

    Cold weather gear

    I have Cabelas Extreme Berber flecce Parka and bibs. These are very warm but also very bulky. I am looking for something as warm with less bulk. Any ideas ?

    My review of Berry College WMA quota hunt...Not what it use to be...

    Public land hunting is tuff anywhere in Georgia. I quit going to Berry several years ago. At least you had the courtesy to leave the areas people were already hunting. A lot of people will just climb a tree near you even if you got there first.
