Broke of an old sisson crankbait on a good un today had me spun out rest of tournament. Gonna try braid, lost to many fish and good baits on mono.

What are the odds of this tournament being canceled, just wondering cause i am having to take a vacation day to fish it

When I have caught good largemouth up there it was on a shaky head or some type of jig. Would try a ned rig in junebug if water is dirty. Jerkbaits also but not if muddy. For some reason the spots shut down in muddy water at least from my experience.

But i dont know the conditions

When i have been there and its dirty, you can get good size large mouth up shallow

I really like the booyah pad crasher. You are going to need braid and for better hook up ratio bend the hooks out. One more thing, when they hit you are going to want to set the hook but its better to couht to 3 and slam it home.
